Date: February 1, 2008

To: All participants / Parents in the Natick Junior Redmen Football / Cheerleading / Flag Program

From: Executive Board, Natick Junior Redmen

Subject: “Zero Tolerance Policy”

This letter is to inform the participants and the parent of participants of the NJR Football, Cheerleading and Flag programs of our “ZERO TOLERANCE” Policy. In recent years it has come to the attention of the Executive Board of some participant’s use of foul language on the field, lack of respect towards coaches, lack of respect during the National Anthem, and an overall poor attitude. The Executive Board of the Natick Junior Redmen has given full discretion to the head coaches of all the football/flag teams and cheerleading squads to enforce this policy. The following will not be tolerated:

• Poor behavior and attitude on the field during games and practices
• Insubordination to coaches, fellow teammates, and the general public
• General lack of respect for the program
• Parents of participants disrespecting coaches, referees and each other
• Any physical violence towards a parent, coach, referee or player

Failure to follow this policy will at least result in a written warning to the participant or parent. Any further incidents will be brought to the attention of the Executive Board for possible dismissal of that participant from the program. In some instances, depending on the gravity of the incident, dismissal may be immediate.

We represent the Town of Natick and should do this with dignity and honor during all games either at home or away.

Thank you for your cooperation!

President: Gerry Hartwell
Vice President: Brett Conaway
Treasurer: Paul Boynton
Secretary: Barbara Franciose
